The Ultimate Draft has drifted apart, but we do still keep up with one another. Now, sadly, I must report that one of our beloved members has left us. Fred Swain passed away on February 26. He was a wonderful man and a gifted entertaining writer. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Welcome to Our Web Site

We are a diverse group or writers who have banded together to pursue the Ultimate Draft. Our areas of interest span a wide array of the writing arts ranging from poetry to screenwriting. Our consortium was organized to provide an environment for creativity not bounded by rigid convention.

Each week, members read substantial amounts of new or rewritten material to invite constructive suggestions and criticism. The mission of Ultimate Draft Writers' Consortium is to promote the production of each members varied style of literary composition, and to develop finished works that are entertaining, of high quality and marketable.
